What age do you teach?

We teach all ages, children and adults alike. You can choose between joining our group lessons or have a private lessons if you’d prefer.

Can I bring my own horse?

Yes you are welcome to bring your own horse.

Do you have quiet horses for nervous riders?

YES! All our horses are comfortable working with riders of all abilities. You will be matched with the horse that best suits your ability level.

How much do lessons cost?

Will I have the opportunity to learn how to tack/un-tack?

Absolutely! We believe it’s important to teach all aspects of horse care, not just how to ride well, from wound care to correct equipment use, we incorporate it all into our lessons.

What happens if it’s raining on the day of my lesson?

We never let a little weather stop us! If it’s lightly raining we have covers for the horses and you’ll still ride, bring a good jacket! If it’s heavily raining we will take the lesson indoors.

Do I have to sign up for a minimum number of lessons?

You can come for one lesson or sign up to come regularly. We operate all year round, including school holidays though do take a couple of weeks break during Christmas and New Years.

Do you have events and shows?

Yes we have regular events and shows with ribbons and prizes. These are a fantastic opportunity to showcase what you’ve learnt and get a feel for how competition riding works. What do I need to bring?

You need wear trousers and shoes with a covered in toe and a slight heel, no shoe laces, gumboots are fine. We provide helmets and back protectors.

How do I pay for the lesson?

Payment is to be made at the start of the lesson. We do not have Eftpos . Cash or a cheque is fine.
